God's gifts and God's call are under full warranty--never canceled, never rescinded.

RECALLED 

After reading this scripture what came to mind was how manufacturers recall many of their own products every year when defects and/or safety risks are discovered. Most recalls occur for safety-related reasons. Sometimes, a manufacturer will voluntarily recall products, and sometimes they are compelled to issue recalls. So if we look at ourselves in terms of being manufactured, we have been made, produced, shaped, and formed by God to re-produce his character on earth. What does that mean?

Let’s look at the scripture first God gave us gifts. God gifted us with Christ, the Holy Spirit, Eternal life, personal abilities, salvation and love. These gifts are to be used to further God’s kingdom. Then God calls us to restored relationship and enter into a close relationship with him. God has a special and unique purpose for our lives. God places a desire and passion in our hearts to do what he has called us to do. And then, God equips us for our specific call. Unlike, man made products we can never be recalled we are under full warranty meaning even if we fall short, God has got us covered. Yes, covered by grace the favor of his merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon us turns us to Christ. God keeps us, strengthens us and increases our faith. It is God who invites us to know him and his affection for us inspiring us to do his will and his work.

Prayer 

Lord your gifts are awesome it’s true
If we just learn to follow you
Lord your call is to use our gifts
One that inspires and uplifts
Lord we thank you for the guarantee
That your love is under full warranty
Holy Spirit keep reminding us we are gifted and called to share
We are covered by God’s grace and in his care.
