Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

“I’ve got this”

This very powerful and encouraging scripture is a favorite of many Believers. We often quote this verse and yet we still live our lives, too often, as if this scripture does not exist. A more thorough examination of this scripture reveals that we may miss the power in this scripture because of the alignment of the words.

The scripture begins with “I” and ends with “Me.” But the real power in this scripture is in the middle/center of this scripture. That is where we find “Christ.” With “Christ” in the center of our lives, we are then able to do all things because He releases the strength that God has placed in us.

Remember, the Strength that is within us, can only be released by Christ when we allow him to be the “Center of our Joy.” Then we become more than Conquerors.

Prayer

Most Precious God in heaven, we thank you this day for reminding us that you have placed within us all that we need to be more than conquerors, when we allow your Son to be Center of our Joy. In Jesus name we pray, amen!

Thought for the day

Our physical strength weakens as we age, but the Provider of our inner strength remains forever Powerful.
