Psalm 106:1

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

God’s Love 

When I hear or read this scripture I am reminded how much God loves us and I am forever grateful for his love. I am also reminded that God’s love is forever and enduring. This sounds good; but what does it really mean?

It is love that is timeless, that lasts through life’s ups and downs, the good and bad. It is love that holds out against and sustains. It is love with no resistance and much patience. It sounds perfect, it sounds peaceful, and it sounds like our Lord! The great thing about this love is that it will last forever! We never have to worry that God will give up on us or turn away. We can find comfort in knowing that God’s love will never end and it will last for forever. That is definitely something we should give thanks for!

Prayer 

Dear God, thank You for Your love, your endurance, and the assurance that it will last forever! Amen.
