Hebrews 3: 13 (NIV)

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Be an Encourager 

This 13th verse in Hebrews chapter 3 is instructing us to encourage our brothers and sisters. Life is so full of things that can easily discourage us as we travel on this faith journey, in preparation to one day meet our Lord and Savior.

None of us are perfect, but we are all God’s children. We must always encourage each other, not occasionally, but often . . . daily. Just because a friend, colleague or even family member seems to be doing just fine, don’t neglect to add your voice of support and encouragement for their Christian walk.

We don’t know when encouragement is needed, but we do know that we all need support to help us to stay focused as we follow Christ.

Prayer 

Thank You Lord for the mind to encourage those that are in need of an encouraging word. Help us to always speak a word that will enable Your children to be sustained on their faith journey. Amen.
